Podcast Episode 02: Tammi Savoy

FEATURED ON THE SHOW:

About Host Jolie Goodnight:

Jolie Goodnight is an international award winning burlesque headliner, jazz singer, and pioneer of the singing striptease of the Modern Burlesque Revival. Hailing back to the days of glitz and glamour, Goodnight has dazzled audiences around the world with classic fan dances and singing that Music News Magazine describes as, “if she sang the phone book to you it would sound sexy.”

Introducing Tammi Savoy:

My guest today is Tammi Savoy, an Award winning Chicago-based International Retro / Vintage vocalist who Sings Soul, Jazz, Blues, and Jump Blues.
Imagine a woman with a powerful, soulful voice that nails the classic 40s, 50s and early 60s R&B and rock’n’roll sounds. Now Match that with a great stage presence and a perfect visual adherence to mid-century vintage style…that’s Tammi Savoy.

What made me want to interview her today is her ability to project ease. From her vintage style, to her buttery voice, everything she does is with a smooth air of graceful composure. I’m endlessly inspired by her sense of impeccable style and any time she steps on stage, I’m excited. Before we dive into our conversation, I have to tell you, I got too excited talking with her, and I forgot how to read time and our chat was cut way too short. Oops! Guess we’ll just need another podcast episode. Anyway, please welcome, Tammi Savoy.
