Jolie Goodnight, the performer Michael Simmons of MOJO Magazine calls “…a tender voice that could melt a stone heart” will begin her residency at the Viva Lounge October 9th. In love with the beauty of an era gone by, Goodnight’s show drips of nostalgia with songs and humor in lieu of the World War II era, when swing and jazz permeated smoky cabaret rooms. Backed by her Stardust Band, Goodnight will perform songs from her highly acclaimed album “Say Goodnight Gracey” in addition to dirty blues and other favorites.
Goodnight’s show is a fresh and modern nod to cabaret shows of the past “…steamy and seductive in a lovably old fashioned way” writes Wayne Bledsoe Knoxville News Sentinel.
